Alternative Energy Program from Automotive Service Consultants

An instructor-initiated, student-directed additional learning component to a NATEF accredited Automotive Technology program of study. (note: other automotive programs may also apply – please click here)
Approximately 20 hours in length, but entirely flexible based upon the instructor’s preferences and student enthusiasm.
Designed to be LEARNED by the students, rather than TAUGHT by the instructor, thereby making it an interactive, fun and engaging experience!
Possible funding may be available through Carl Perkins Federal Funding, the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA), the National Science Foundation (NSA), various state agencies with interest in alternative energy, or many other viable sources.

Alternative Fuel Vehicle

The basic cost of this program is only $9,995 plus S & H and includes:

First year of Associate Training Membership (high school division) in the National Alternative Fuels Training Consortium (NAFTC) out of Morgantown, West Virginia

Nationally recognized alternative fuels curriculum from NAFTC

First year subscription to the Automotive Technician Training (ATT) DVD and on-line curriculum resources

Megatech MEGTE1E single-cylinder, transparent, oil-less, multi-fuel, 4-cycle internal combustion engine or the MEGLOC-HYB Hybrid Vehicle Demonstrator (these trainers may also be utilized in collaboration with your school's Science program)

Continuous Internet, email, and direct telephone technical support from ASC – we'll even help you with the grant in order to get started!
